Living Joyfully is my website,
this website. I've written quite a bit about
unschooling
over the years, hoping to help those searching for information or
inspiration. It's organized around the level of unschooling experience of the reader, in an attempt to
provide the most helpful information to each reader.
In the
articles section, my previously published articles and conference talks are available to read for free.
And if you have an e-reader, I pulled the articles together in an ebook that you can download from here as well.
The website is also home to a couple of
Anne Ohman's terrific articles.
Free to Learn is my first book!
In it, I discuss the five ideas, or paradigm shifts, that I found most helped me understand unschooling.
To keep up with my more regularly-scheduled writing, head over to my
blog. Here I'll definitely be
writing about unschooling and my thoughts and experiences. I may also write about other interests of mine
over time. I will definitely categorize and tag my posts so readers can easily
filter out ones they may not be interested in reading.
Toronto Unschooling Conference
is my conference website. For six years I hosted an unschooling conference in and around Toronto, Canada.
It is on hiatus for the foreseeable future . And I say hiatus because I have learned to never say never!
In the meantime, I will keep all the historical conference info available: speakers, talk descriptions etc.
All the talks were recorded over the years and they are still available for purchase for minimal cost at
The Unschooler's Emporium.
Shine With Unschooling
is the yahoo email list I co-moderate with a lovely group of women and where I write regularly.
Founded by Anne Ohman it's a "joyful, positive, radical unschooling community that celebrates each
and every child for the unique gifts they bring to the world."
And my profuse thanks go to my daughter Lissy who created, from my bare bones drawing, an amazing
treasure map for the home page. From there, she also created the page headers you find throughout
my website and blog. And the covers for both my book and my articles collection.
She's a wonderful photographer and artist and if you'd like to enjoy more
of her work you're welcome to check out her website,
lissyelle.com.
I created that website too! Based on her design, of course.
I think that about covers it!
